Dr. Jose Contreras has been working in the healthcare sector for more than 16 years in the Dominican Republic, New York, and Miami. He studied dentistry at Universidad Iberoamérica (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo. Dr. Contreras focuses on healthcare consulting including operational optimization, procurement, and sales acceleration.

He also advises on investments in the healthcare sector with special focus on biomolecular laboratories, dental and medical offices, and global equipment procurement. Dr. Contreras is part of the Odes team leading initiatives on private equity and capital introduction for distressed assets in the healthcare sector and an integral part of Odes’ private equity consulting arm identifying opportunities to scale in partnership with local entities.
